Vanessa & Kurt’s engagement session was a photographers dream! Not only was the location beautiful, they were also dressed to the nines! Vanessa looked gorgeous in her flowy pink dress and Kurt’s navy suit paired perfectly. I met with the couple last summer right before I had my daughter. You could imagine how much easier it was for me to get around during this shoot- haha! Vanessa shared their very romantic engagement story with me which involved candles, rose peddles and a pier. It was such a beautiful day for photos as we walked around Frelinghuysen Arboretum! I had such a great time with this awesome couple and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding day at Park Savoy in January 2019.

I photographed Danielle & Matt’s engagement session back in April. You would think with an April engagement session we would have warm weather but that was not the case this day, it was very unseasonably cold, but these two were such good sports! We started at the brewery in the Garner Arts Center. Fun Fact: the NBC show Rise is filmed in Garner NY and even did a scene in the first season at the Arts Center, which was so cool! We explored the center a bit and found this really pretty alleyway with string lights that was perfect for photos! After the Arts Center we headed over to Bowline Point Park to get some photos near the Hudson River. It was cold and windy but the view was amazing! Their adorable little pup even joined us for some photos. I had such a great time with this sweet couple and I can not wait to capture the love they have for each other on their wedding day.

Bayonet Farm Engagement Session | Holmdel NJ | Caroline + Phil

Caroline + Phil are getting married this weekend so I figured now would be the perfect time to share their stunning engagement session that I photographed back in October! This was the first engagement session I did post baby and I was really itching to get back out in nature, and being with this awesome couple made it all the more fun! Caroline & Phil looked fantastic in the outfits they chose and the light/weather the day of was just amazing. Bayonet Farm never disappoints! There are so many pretty & romantic locations their for photos. I thoroughly enjoyed talking to Caroline & Phil as we walked around the farm. They are both so easy going it felt like I had known them for years. It was also fun to get to meet their adorable pup and snap a few photos of them together. I love being able to capture a love a couple has for one another and Caroline & Phil made it easy for me to do. I am so excited to photograph their wedding day and spend the day with these two again! Sandy Hook NJ Engagement Session | Christina + Ryan

Back in April I got to photograph this sweet couple on the most gorgeous day of the year! It had been SO cold all winter long and this was the very first day it got about 60 degrees. For that reason alone everyone (in the whole state it seemed) was just in a fantastic mood haha, and I was so excited about this session! I was referred to these two by a wonderful family that I have been photographing for the past several years. I can't wait to see their little niece and nephews as flower girl and ring bearers in their wedding! Christina and Ryan are both so awesome! I knew from the day I met them that they would be amazing to work with and we had so much fun during their session. Sandy Hook is truly one of my favorite locations for an engagement session. We found so many gorgeous locations and the light was just amazing! These two are naturals and I can not wait to see them again and photograph their big day in just a few months!
