6 Month Old Session | Little Silver NJ

I can’t believe how quickly this Summer is flying by! As you may have noticed by now I’m pretty much obsessed with this Farm and it was the perfect spot for baby Ashleigh’s 6-month old session. We got some adorable family photos and solo shots of baby Ashleigh showing off some of her new skills (aka sitting up on her own!) This baby girl is so sweet and has the brightest smile! I have loved watching her grow this year and I can’t wait to photograph her one year session, which will be here before I know it!

I photographed Danielle & Matt’s engagement session back in April. You would think with an April engagement session we would have warm weather but that was not the case this day, it was very unseasonably cold, but these two were such good sports! We started at the brewery in the Garner Arts Center. Fun Fact: the NBC show Rise is filmed in Garner NY and even did a scene in the first season at the Arts Center, which was so cool! We explored the center a bit and found this really pretty alleyway with string lights that was perfect for photos! After the Arts Center we headed over to Bowline Point Park to get some photos near the Hudson River. It was cold and windy but the view was amazing! Their adorable little pup even joined us for some photos. I had such a great time with this sweet couple and I can not wait to capture the love they have for each other on their wedding day.

I'm so excited to share this precious newborn session I recently photographed! Baby Isabelle was a doll and I loved getting to know more about her sweet family! As the mother of a little boy and girl myself we had so much to connect over :) I loved capturing the love and joy this family has and I am so excited to photograph baby Isabelle's 6-month and one year old sessions as well!

Spring Lake NJ Family Session

Time is flying! I can't believe it has been almost one year since I took these photos for Jamie and Dough with their sweet baby girl Henley Grace! Jamie and I met through another photographer friend of mine and we were both expecting baby girls about two weeks apart from each other! When Jamie's baby girl was just a little over a month we did an outdoor newborn session for them at Divine Park in Spring Lake. I had such a great time with this sweet family! After some beautiful photos in the park we rode over to the beach for some more on the boardwalk. We also had quite the adventure when I lost the keys to my car and we all had to search with our phone flashlights in the dark. Turns out the key was in my trunk! I was still getting used to the whole "push to start" thing...and I think I'll just blame it on Mommy brain ;)

McLoone's Pier House Wedding | NJ Wedding Photography | Caroline + Phil

 

I don't even know where to begin with this wedding! To say I loved everything about it is an understatement! First of all, Caroline & Phil are just incredible people. They are the kind of people who you instantly feel comfortable with and I felt like I had known them for years! Thunderstorms were expected for their wedding day all week in the forecast but that changed the day before to partly cloudy and we were so excited! The morning was filled with joy and laughter as Caroline & Phil got ready with their closest friends and family. The ceremony was so beautiful and we were able to do all of the family photos right outside infront of the beautiful red doors of the church. As soon as we got into our car to head over to the reception at McLoone's Pier House it started pouring down rain! Caroline and Phil wanted to get photos on the beach but were hoping the beach wouldn't be too crowded and that is exactly what happened thanks to the rain storm! Once the rain let up I rushed to get them outside for some photos as a beautiful rainbow had appeared in the sky! It disappeared quickly but we did manage to get a few of them with the faint rainbow in the background :)
Being on the beach with the bridal party was so much fun! I think we laughed the entire time we were out there! After some beautiful portraits of the newlyweds we went inside to get ready for the party, and boy did these people know how to party! The entrances of the bridal party and bride and groom were some of the best I've ever seen. When the bride and groom shared their first dance the whole bridal party had their arms around one another swaying and singing, it was literally the cutest thing ever! All of the first dances had be tearing up. They were all so sweet! After the fantastic toasts the couple went straight into their cake cutting so that they could spend the rest of the night partying it up, uninterrupted! As you will see from the photos the dance floor was overflowing! Guests danced ALL night long. It was such a BLAST! I actually wanted to stay just to dance with them. Aside from this day just being incredible, it was such an honor to work with such wonderful, sweet people.

New Jersey Maternity Photography

I had the privilege of photographing this sweet couple last summer before they welcomed their first baby! I was also pregnant with my daughter at the time and our due dates were just a few weeks apart! Latoya & Clay didn’t find out the gender of their baby, they wanted to be surprised :) Latoya chose a beautiful yellow floral dress and was absolutely stunning!  We were at one of my all time favorite locations, Bayonet Farm, and the lighting in the field was to die for. We had so much fun walking around the farm and swapping stories of our pregnancies. At one point people walking by said congratulations and we realized they were probably saying it to both of us, and thought of how funny it must look for a 9 month pregnant photographer taking photos for a 9 month pregnant couple, haha! I’ve also had the honor of photographing their sweet baby a few more times and I can’t wait to share those photos soon!

Perona Farms Wedding | NJ Wedding Photographer | Nikki + Matt

Nikki & Matt’s wedding day was absolutely incredible! I have been looking forward to this wedding for a very long time. They booked me over two years ago, which I think is the furtherest out I had ever been booked, and I had been so excited to photograph their wedding day at the gorgeous Perona Farms ever since! I did Nikki & Matt’s engagement session back in the Fall of 2016 and immediately knew we were going to have a ton of fun with these two! Nikki is also very interested in photography and for her birthday last year Matt surprised her with her first professional grade camera, and a beginner lesson from me! Since then Nikki has assisted me on a wedding day and will be doing a lot more with me this year. It has been awesome to get to know her more through working together and being her wedding photographer. Both Matt and Nikki  are such kind, fun and down-to-earth people and have the sweetest families! I actually met both of their moms the first time I met with them and I was so happy to see them on the wedding day! The sunflower theme was PERFECT for a summer wedding at Perona Farm. The colors, details and decor were all gorgeous and there were so many homemade touches that made everything come together beautifully.  Nikki’s Dad and brother made the photo-booth backdrop and her Dad made the center pieces (three of which they sent home with us!!) I loved so much about this day, it’s hard to condense it all into a few paragraphs but I’ll give it a shot haha. First, I loved their first look!!! Their reactions were priceless and the location was so beautiful. I also loved the ceremony overlooking the barn. During their vows they made pinky promises to each other which I thought was just the cutest thing ever! The twinkling lights in the reception room were spectacular! The room was picture perfect and the first dances had everyone in tears. My favorite part of the day was taking the couple outside for some sunset photos. It had cooled down a lot by then and the light on the farm was amazing! It was so fun to sneak out for a few minutes with them to capture a few more romantic portraits before going back up to dance the night away. The DJ kept the energy high all night and the room was filled with love and laughter. It was truly such a beautiful wedding and it was such an honor to be apart of it!
