When I met this family it was before these two beauties Sunny and Chey came into their lives. Their momma Kate is a musician and prior to this I took photos for her album cover- which was so fun to be apart of! Kate and her husband worked together to have their newborn babies, their son and themselves as ready as they could for our session. These types of sessions can be full of surprises especially when there are multiple babies + siblings involved. To get everyone together not crying, not cranky, with smiles on their faces at the exact same time can be a challenge. You know the saying Instagram vs. Reality? Well, reality definitely won in some of the moments from our session. But that’s life! And that’s what makes it beautiful. Even still, I was able to capture some seriously cute and fun in between moments. At one point the girls fell asleep and Remington decided he wanted to go off and do toddler things (reasonable!). That gave us a peaceful period of time where we got those sweet photos of them swaddled up together with those stinkin’ cute oversized bows mommy put on them. Our time together was quiet, loud, sweet and chaotic. Our time together was #reality!

The Park Savoy Estate Wedding | Vanessa + Kurt

Vanessa & Kurt’s wedding was beyond incredible! This wedding is definitely up there as one of my all time favorites!!! All the details were insanely beautiful. I seriously can not get over them! It was my first time at The Park Savoy Estate and I already can’t wait to work with them again!!! Everything about this place is so gorgeous! We started off in their bridal suite with Vanessa and her girls. The sun was lighting up the room perfectly. We were definitely crunched for time but I still can’t believe how we pulled off every last detail in the nick of time! When Vanessa got into her Justin Alexander mermaid dress all of our jaws hit the floor. She looked absolutely stunning from head to toe. The bridesmaids looked incredible too!! Vanessa was so blown away by how gorgeous her girls looked, it was so sweet. Vanessa’s glam squad was ON POINT! I think my favorite part of the morning was the confetti photos with Vanessa and the bridesmaids in their robes. It was so much fun and we were all cracking up when the confetti hit the air! Kurt and the groomsmen looked so dapper in their tuxes as well! Both Vanessa & Kurt presented their moms with sweet embroidered handkerchiefs that morning as a memento of their big day. Seeing the joy and pride parents have for their children on their wedding day is one of my favorite things to witness. Time seemed to be moving in super speed that morning and before we knew it it was time to head to the church. It was an extremely COLD day and the wind did not help that fact! I do not know how these two stood outside for more than 2 minutes, but they definitely deserve and award for hanging in there! After portraits we were back at The Park Savoy! The reception was just amazing. I’m still swooning over the color palate of this wedding. The soft pinks, purples and whites mixed in with the dark grays were so elegant and romantic! Vanessa & Kurt put so much thought and detail into planning their dream wedding and it was SO worth it! The indoor sparklers and their first dance on the clouds really gave it that WOW factor. It truly was a fairytale wedding. I could go on and on about how much I loved this wedding but I’ll let the photos do the rest!

Through the years I have found January + February as a great time for catching up on blogging some of my family and newborn sessions that I wasn’t able to blog in the midst of busy season. This is one of my all time FAVORITE newborn sessions! This family is the sweetest and I had such a great time with them capturing their precious baby boy. I’ve already had the pleasure of photographing Hayden’s 6 month old session which will be up on the blog soon! It was summer during this session so we took advantage of the warm weather to get some adorable photos on the porch of their beautiful home. Their house is super cute inside and out and there is some great light in the master bedroom which is where we did a lot of cute snuggly photos of the three of them and baby Hayden alone. How stinkin cute is this little guy?! I can’t wait for his one year old session and to see this sweet family again! :)

Sea Bright NJ Engagement Photography | Lindsay + Jason

I’m so excited to share this beautiful beach engagement session! I met up with Lindsay and Jason on a cold but gorgeous winter day. The beach in the winter is my FAV! There is no one there and the colors are so vibrant. Lindsay and Jason are SO cute together! You can tell how comfortable they make each other and how much fun they have together. We had such a great time exploring some of the places they love in Sea Bright. We came upon the awesome “Greetings from Sea Bright” wall art and this adorably painted bus stop which we had some fun taking photos in. After our time in Sea Bright we took a ride over to Highlands to snap some photos on the Sandy Hook Bridge which was a first for me. What a cool experience and such a gorgeous view! I am SO excited to photograph this awesome couple’s big day this September at The Mill in Spring Lake.

Pier Village Engagement Photography | Long Branch NJ | Lindsay + Bill

I met up with Lindsay and Bill the day after Christmas for their winter engagement session. Pier Village is so pretty during every season but this time of the year it looks particularly magical! It was a very crisp day so I was surprised at the amount of people that were out and about! But of course the beach was unoccupied haha! So we had the whole beach to ourselves! Lindsay and Bill were such troopers staying out there with no coats for as long as they did! After some gorgeous beach portraits we found a really cool wall behind one of the restaurants which made for some more beautiful photos. We then walked over to the ice rink for some festivity! I loved spending time with Lindsay and Bill! I met Lindsay this past Fall when she was a bridesmaid in one of my bride’s weddings! These two are such a sweet and awesome couple. They are SO cute together & you really can see the love they share. I cannot wait to photograph their SUMMER wedding at The Gramercy.

Avon-By-The-Sea NJ Engagement Photography | Shannon + Erik

I met up with Shannon + Erik on a beautiful summer day! The weather forecast had been predicting rain so we weren’t sure if we were going to make it before the storm but we lucked out and had absolutely beautiful weather! This couple is SO cute and I had so much fun being with them and walking around the beach & boardwalk in Avon. I LOVED Shannon’s engagement ring, it is so pretty! And their outfits fit perfectly with the beach setting. These two are such awesome, down to earth people and I cannot wait to capture their wedding day this July at the English Manor!

NJ Newborn Photography

It was such an honor to photograph Baby Emme and her sweet family. I had the honor of photographing her parents wedding just a few years earlier and I absolutely LOVE to capture my past couples growing families! Baby Emme is such a precious little girl. She joins two older brothers so she is definitely the little princess of the family! I am so excited to capture her 1st year mile stone this year!

Point Pleasant Engagement Photography | Brianna + Derek

I met up with Brianna and Derek on one of the last warm days of Fall. The beach is by far one of my favorite places to be. Especially when official beach season is over. It makes you appreciate it a little more…the sounds of the waves crashing, the colors of the rocks, how the sand feels against your feet, and how perfectly the sky and shore meet. Briana + Derek’s session was fun and romantic. Derek brought the engraved ring box that he proposed with which gave the session a personal touch. They also have a couples tattoo of a heart shaped lock and a key (see below). I thought that was super adorable! These two are such a sweet couple and I loved photographing their engagement session.
