The Ryland Inn Wedding | Lauren + Drew

Ryland Inn Wedding Photography

Lauren + Drew’s wedding landed on such a beautiful summer day! It had been insanely hot the day before so it was nice to get a little break from the humidity! While I worked with Lauren + her bridesmaids, Anne + Gina went over with the guys. My assistant Gina is officially in training, so it’s really exciting that she’s able to be along side of the wonderful second shooters I work with! It was such a relaxing day from start to finish and everything about it went smoothly. I loved the soft romantic feel of the day. First look + portraits with this sweet couple was just awesome. The florals we’re so luscious and beautiful! And the colors complimented the dresses and suits perfectly! Lauren + Drew met online, which seems to be so popular nowadays and I love it! Just a guy from Indiana and a Jersey gal gettin’ hitched, hehe! Most of their friends and families were just meeting for the first time that weekend! Which was so cool. Especially to see everyone having such a good time together like they've known each other for years! I have to rave about The Ryland Inn for a second. This was my first time shooting my own wedding here and WOW. This place is literally magnificent, as you can see! I could shoot a million weddings here and I hope I do LOL. Now let’s talk about the reception and how AWESOME the DJ was! Chuck is friends with this couple and many guests there which made it extra special and fun! He knew exactly what to play to get everyone dancing nonstop! I had such a blast at this wedding. It definitely was a night to remember for everyone :)

Congratulations Lauren + Drew!

My daughter's 2nd birthday!

NJ Family Photography_6791.jpg

My baby girl turned 2 years old on Aug 11th! I cannot believe two years have gone by since this sweet girl came into our lives. She is such a blessing and we treasure her so much! We decided to have a unicorn themed birthday party since she loves unicorns and I wanted an excuse to throw a super girly party :P. With her birthday being right in the middle of busy wedding season I didn’t have a ton of time to plan but that ended up being a good thing because it made me make decisions fast lol! I picked up a few unicorn themed decorations and printed out a fun game I found on Pinterest where you had to find your unicorn name and write it on a name tag- that was your name for the day! Anna’s name was Petal Sparkle ;) My husband did such a great job getting the yard all party ready and preparing all the food the day of. Our families also helped out so much and everything came together so beautifully! The older the kids get the more I understand the saying “It takes a village” LOL. Our awesome neighbor let us borrow a 7 foot blow up unicorn sprinkler that was a total hit with all the kids!!! The day went by so quick and I barely got to eat during the party but I was just so filled with joy the entire time to be around all of our family and friends. At one point I even teared up just thinking about how blessed my children are to be surrounded by so much love <3 I am so grateful for my family & friends and it was such a special day celebrating our little Annabelle Grace.

Seaside Park Engagement Photography | Kendall + Nico

Seaside Park Engagement Session

This was a really awesome engagement session that I did for this sweet couple back in June. Every once in a while I’ll do engagement sessions for couples whose wedding I’m not photographing. Kendall + Nico’s engagement session was just that! It was a beautiful day in Seaside park and it’s almost like we had the beach to ourselves! Which was very surprising for the beginning of summer. These two are getting married out of state next year but found me through a friend whose wedding I photographed. This couple is super cute together and i’m sure you noticed Nico’s cool tattoos! I actually didn’t even realize how cool they were until I started editing these photos!! Although I don’t have one, I think tattoos are so awesome. I wish I had asked him about them because I love to hear the meanings behind tattoos! I’m so happy for these two and can’t wait to see photos from their special day!

The English Manor Wedding | Shannon + Erik

The English Manor Wedding_6683.jpg

Shannon & Erik had a beautiful + classic summer wedding! Gina and I started the day with bridal prep at Shannon’s parents house which was in an adorable little complex. We took advantage of the pretty light in the sunroom along with the open grassy field right outside! Shannon’s details were so beachy and adorable! Her dress from The Wedding Embassy was gorgeous and she looked radiant! Ashley spent the morning with the boys, and after everyone was done getting ready we all met up at Holy Trinity Church. The ceremony was beautiful and the music by Justin and Alina was very sweet and touching! Once the ceremony was complete we headed over to Monmouth beach for some bridal party photos. It was a hot day so we didn’t say too long but just long enough to get those cute beach shots! After that it was time to head over to the gorgeous English Manor where we took some photos at the beautiful property they have there. I absolutely love the English Manor! Everyone there is so wonderful to work with and it’s always a lovely experience. The reception was so much fun with Elite Entertainment keeping the party going, like always! It couldn’t have been more perfect! It was such a joy for me to capture this special day!

Congratulations Shannon & Erik!

Enjoy the photos :)

The Mill Lakeside Manor Wedding | Andrea + Shaun

The Mill Spring Lake Wedding Photography

It feels like just yesterday that I was at Allaire State Park with Andrea and Shaun for their engagement session and now they are married!! The morning of their wedding was calm and joyful. Andrea’s parents were so warm and welcoming. We had the perfect set up for Andrea’s details in her mom’s room. We laid out all the pretty details and I was so happy to see she included the ring dish that came in her Amanda Dolly Photography Welcome package! As we were looking for a spot to hang her gorgeous Justin Alexander dress, one of us noticed a hook in the ceiling in the PERFECT spot. Not only was the lighting fantastic there, but there was a photo of her parents on their wedding day hanging right next to it! It’s as if this corner of the room was made for Andrea’s dress. After mom crocheted Andrea’s dress up she was ready for her first look with dad, which was so sweet and emotional! Before leaving for the church we took everyone outside in their beautiful backyard for a few portraits. The weather that day was hot but not TOO hot, thank God! Andrea + Shaun’s ceremony was beautiful and after they became husband and wife we headed to Spring Lake for portraits of the two and their bridal party. Divine Park is one of my favorite spots, it’s so gorgeous! The reception was held at the incredible and quaint Mill at Lakeside Manor. I absolutely love it here from the location, to the cute little dock, to the staff! There is an adorable swan family that lives on the lake and we were given popcorn to feed them!! It was so fun. The ballroom was stunningly decorated and the lighting in there was amazing. Everyone had so much fun dancing the night away and it was such an honor to capture this truly beautiful day!

Congratulations Andrea + Shaun!

Enjoy the photos :)

Spring Lake NJ Engagement Session

Spring Lake NJ Family Photography

I met Megan when she was a bridesmaid in Gina + Nick’s wedding back in March! She will be getting married next year and reached out to me for some engagement + family photos. Megan + Bryan have a beautiful little girl and an adorable lab. I did some photos at their gorgeous home in Brick and then we went over to Divine Park in Spring Lake. Their outfits were coordinated so well together and Megan’s dress popped with all the greenery at the park! Their daughter was so adorable and absolutely loving being in front of the camera. She was soaking up some mommy daddy time with lots of cuddles. Something that was really special about this session was that it was Megan + Bryan’s 8 year anniversary! I had such a great time with this sweet family.

Enjoy the photos!

Martell's Water Edge Wedding | Kristen + Pat

Martell's Waters Edge Wedding Photography

Kristen + Pat had the most gorgeous summer wedding by the sea. All of the colors in this wedding were my dream colors! The sea foam greens, pinks + whites of the florals were to die for! Our morning was so much fun with Kristen + her bridal party. They were all so sweet and put the cutest gift together for Kristen…friend goals! After she opened it, we cleared the room out so Kristen could have a moment to herself as she opened her groom’s gift. Pat’s gift wasn’t just your ordinary wedding day gift. There was a little notepad where he wrote out instructions on when to open each individually wrapped + numbered gift with a description along with each. This thoughtful gift took her through all of the things Pat promises to give her in their future. Talk about the sweetest thing ever! That special moment was followed by the next special moment- their first look. It was the most perfect set up as Kristen walked out on the dock to meet her groom. We had a drone going and everything thanks to Shotwell Productions! We truly couldn’t have asked for better weather this day. The sun was shining all day while the clouds were so fluently working to cover the sun at just the right moments during portraits. The day flowed so perfectly. The outdoor ceremony was gorgeous overlooking the glistening ocean. Kristen and Pat recited the most heartfelt vows to each other. There were not many dry eyes in the crowd! The reception was everything and more. From beautiful speeches to tearing it up on the dance floor, you could just see all the love that is shared between them + their friends and family. One of my favorite moments of the night was Kristen + Pat’s sunset portrait session. We found an EPIC spot that made for some of my favorite sunset photos. The colors of the sky were just so pretty that we had to walk down one of Martell’s Water Edge’s docks for some more portraits! Everything about this day was just perfect. Kristen + Pat, I wish you many more days like this!

Enjoy the photos!

Bayonet Farm Family Photography

Bayonet Farm Family Photography

Oh my goodness this session was too cute for words! It means the world to me to be able to photograph so many milestones in people’s lives and I started with Rita and Kirk at the very beginning- their wedding day! I have since had the incredible pleasure of photographing a maternity session, newborn, 6 month and 1 year old sessions for their baby girl and now this adorable maternity session with baby #2. They keep the gender a surprise each time and I couldn’t wait to find out if they were adding a baby boy or girl to their family. We had a great time walking around this beautiful farm and cutie pie Emma cheesed it up for the camera the whole time! One of my all time favorite photos was taken at this session when I had mom and dad on the stairs kiss behind her while she was in front of them and at that very moment she stuck her tongue out, totally unprompted and it made for the absolute cutest photo! I love working with this sweet family so much and I’m SO excited to photograph their newest addition to the family…a baby BOY this Friday! Stay tuned for an adorable overload ;)
