2015 "Favorites" {A Year In Review} Amanda Dolly Photography

It's that time of year again! Time to look back through this incredible year that has brought so many new and amazing experiences and memories. To say that choosing just a few favorites is hard is an understatement. I will admit I only choose my favorites by looking at the photos I had posted on my blog and Facebook. If I had gone through every album it would have taken 16 hours..if not longer ;). I am so thankful for all of the amazing clients I had the privilege of working with this year, as well as my awesome photography team! 2015 was such an incredible year and I can not wait to get 2016 started!!!

Started off the year with Julian and Kristen's Beautiful Wedding at McLoones

My little guy turned 3 years old in Feb. so I had to put this one in :)

At the end of Feb. I attened and awesome workshop (By LuRey Photography) on using Off Camera Flash. This was my fav. image that I took from that weekend!

I was so happy when Spring arrived and I was able to get out in nature again :)

I also shot a few of my first boudoir sessions this year!

One weekend in June took me from Central Park, to Jersey City, to Hillsboro NJ. It was an amazing weekend filled with so much love!

I also started shooting some real estate photography this year :)

Mr. Softie! #summer ;)

This year also brought my first Styled Shoot which I had the privilege of working on with a very talented event planner, Ally Dwyer :)

Newborns! Newborns!

August was filled with more weddings and engagement sessions then ever before, and each so unique and beautiful!

The Fall brought one for my favorite times of the year, Fall Mini Sessions and gorgeous Fall weddings!

I also did a lot of 2nd shooting this year for many awesome photographers. The two photos below are from a wedding I 2nd shot for Limelight Entertainment photography :)

2nd shooting for Erin Nicastro Photography :)

My last shoot of the year took me to North Wales PA for an awesome family session!

Hope & Michael {Wedding} Denville NJ, New Jersey Wedding Photography

I am so excited to share Hope and Michael's romantic backyard wedding! These two high school sweethearts are such genuine, sweet people and an all around beautiful couple. Hope looked stunning in her flowing bridal gown and Michael looked so sharp in his beige tux. I loved all of the gorgeous white details incorporated in their wedding and sparkling hanging lights in the tent made it feel even more magical. Everyone had a blast dancing the night away! There was so much love and joy shared by both Hope and Michael and their friends and family on their wedding day and it was such an honor to capture their special day!

Congratulations Hope and Michael!

Enjoy the photos :)

Valerie & James {Engagement Session} Wissahickon Valley Park, PA Engagement Photography

Valerie and James' engagement session is by far one of my favorites of the year! Beautiful couple, beautiful day, beautiful scenery...you really couldn't ask for more! These two are so much fun to be around and their love for one another is infectious!

Wissahickon Valley Park

is a very special spot for them as they have spent a lot of time here together in the past hiking the trails, picnicking on the rocks, and they were even here the day they were engaged. This park is incredibly beautiful, so many great spots tucked away on the edge of the river and along the side of the trail. We took a bit of a hike to get to the bridge that you will see towards the end but man was it worth it! I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know this awesome couple more during their engagement session and I can not wait to photograph their wedding next year!

Enjoy the photos :)

Allison & Brian {Wedding} The Bernards Inn, Bernardsville NJ, New Jersey Wedding Photography

I loved photographing Allison and Brian's sweet and intimate wedding at the beautiful

Bernards Inn

in Bernardsville NJ this summer. It was such a wonderful day from beginning to end! They said "I do" in front of a small group of their loved ones and we found the prettiest little park right near the Inn for their portraits. The light was amazing! I love everything about the Bernards Inn and being with this couple made me love it even more. Allison and Brian are awesome and it was such a pleasure to capture their perfect wedding day!

Congratulations Allison & Brian!

Stephanie & Kenny {Wedding} il Tulipano Cedar Groove NJ, New Jersey Wedding Photography

Stephanie & Kenny's wedding was beautiful! They are two of the sweetest people I have met and are both so in love and were super excited to share their wedding day with the people who mean the most to them. They had a lovely ceremony where they exchanged heartfelt vows and even planted a tree together! Although it was a particularly hot summer day Stephanie and Kenny did not let that stop them from taking advantage of the beautiful grounds at

il Tulipano

. One of my favorite moments of the day was the couple's first look in front of the waterfall. I don't think they could have had bigger smiles on their faces! Their reception was filled with laughing, dancing, and a traditional tea ceremony which was a really cool experience for me since it was the first time I had seen one. I am so happy for these two and it was such a privilege to capture their special day!

Congratulation Stephanie & Kenny!

Bridal Portraits:

Turkey Swamp Park

I am so excited to share Annette and Kevin's gorgeous wedding day! If you missed their engagement session you can check it out

here

! These two are awesome! I knew their wedding was going to be amazing from the first time we sat down to talk about it. They had so many beautiful details and personal touches that made the day all the more special. One of my favorite moments of the day was when Annette's Dad saw her for the first time. His reaction was priceless! After a beauftil ceremony at one of my favorite churches,

St. Rose of Lima,

we headed over to

Turkey Swamp Park

to do some bridal party portraits in the perfect weather! We then made our way to

South Gate Manor

for the reception and were able to get in a few more photos of Annette and Kevin their (I love when couples want a lot of the two of them!) We found some awesome places for photos, which wasn't hard because South Gate is gorgeous! Another one of my favorite moments was the first dances and the way that they would look at each other. I'm a sucker for first dances..I cry almost every time haha. The rest of the evening was filled with lots of laughing, dancing and partying at it's finest! I know this wedding was their dream come true and it was such a joy for me to capture their special day!

Congratulations Annette & Kevin!

Location:

Jenkinsons Boardwalk, Point Plesant NJ

I always find it amusing when people say “I can’t even” but with these two I don’t know what else to say because as I was editing these photos all I kept thinking was “I can’t even!" Haha. They are too adorable together! I always love engagement sessions at Point Pleasant board walk because there are so many places to go for fun and creative shots! It also just so happened that this boardwalk is very special to John & Carmella because it is where they first started dating and even where John proposed. It was such a beautiful evening and I loved getting to spend time with this sweet couple and learn more about them before their big day! I can't wait to photograph their wedding next August :)

Enjoy the photos!

Michelle & Anthony {Engagement Session} Deep Cut Gardens/Sandy Hook, NJ Engagement Photography

I had so much fun with this awesome couple during their engagement session. The rain almost cancelled our session but we waited it out and were able to not only get some beautiful shots at Deep Cut Gardens but the sun ended up coming out and we got to the beach just in time for an amazing sunset....and a little rainbow! I can't even handle how cute these two are! I can not wait to photograph their wedding next year :)

Enjoy the photos!
