I am SO excited about this blog post!!! Valerie & James first contacted me well over a year before their wedding and from the very first time I met them I knew there wedding was going to be a special one! We had the best time during their engagement session at Wissahickon Valley Park in Philadelphia (still one of my favorite sessions ever!) These two are just naturals in front of the camera! James and Valerie met at Villanova University and always knew they wanted to be married in St. Thomas of Villanova church. It had also always been a dream of mine to photograph a wedding at this gorgeous church! I loved the colors they chose for the wedding and the overcast skies really made the blues and reds in the florals and dresses pop all the more. When I think back on Valerie and James' wedding day the words that come to mind to describe it are: incredibly sweet. These two, along with their friends and family were all such sweethearts! The whole bridal party was fabulous to work with and the entire day ran so smoothly from one location to the next. Valerie and James have such an obvious love for one another and they really made their wedding day about their love for each other and for everyone that was there sharing it with them. One of my favorite parts of the day was Valerie's reaction to seeing James after he changed from his Dress Blues into a very sharp suit, and then walking around the beautiful grounds at the High Point. There are just so many amazing spots for photos! The reception perfectly reflected the sweet nature of this couple and was so much fun! It was such an honor to photograph this beautiful couple's wedding day!
