I was so excited for Jamie & Dan's engagement session in Asbury Park NJ. It was so incredibly nice to be OUTSIDE! I think we are all feeling the same way about this seemingly never ending winter, and to be at the beach (and not seeing snow on the ground!) was just so refreshing! I loved that Jamie & Dan wanted to do some of their photos at Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten, which is an awesome restaurant/bar in Asbury Park. The architecture there is amazing! We had fun taking some photos inside near the bar and on the roof top, which has a bar and seating as well. It was a bit chilly on the roof so we didn't stay too long but we wanted to get some fun ones of them sharing a pretzel and beer together! (P.S. best pretzel ever!) This is something that they do often together and it was cool to be able to photograph them doing something that they would normally do in their everyday life. Dan proposed to Jamie on the bridge right across the street so we made sure to get some photos there as well! After a quick outfit change we headed over to the boardwalk to get some of those classic Asbury Park backdrops. We spent some time near the Convention Hall and then made our way onto the beach! The colors were so pretty and the outfits Jamie and Dan chose went so perfectly together. I had a fantastic time hanging out with these two and I can not wait to photograph their wedding at McLoone's Pier House in November!
