Maggie and Nick's wedding day was a dream! From the moment I first met with this couple I knew there wedding day was going to be amazing. These two met at the University of Delaware and that is where I photographed their engagement session on the beautiful campus there! They are both such sweet, easy going people who really wanted the main focus of the wedding day to be on celebrating their love with their family and friends. Maggie's dress from Cinderella Bridals looked stunning on her and In the Garden did an amazing job with all of the florals! I loved the groomsmen attire as well with all of the different bowties! I was gushing over all of the beautiful colors and details in the wedding: Navy blue with gold and white accents (a little hint of the University of Delaware).
Maggie and Nick's wedding just flowed so seamlessly! I love planning the timeline with each of my couples and Maggie was so on top of everything even to the point of having a rainy day location and a sunny day location for portraits. I'm so glad we were able to use the sunny day location, Divine Park in Spring Lake NJ! The sun coming through the trees was perfect and everyone in the bridal party was so wonderful to work with! After bridal party photos we headed to Mcloone’s Pier House for family portraits before the ceremony. I am always SO happy to be back at McLoone's everyone there is so lovely to work with and you can't beat that ocean view :) The ceremony on the beach was perfect and they had many extra "guests" looking on from the boardwalk. The reception was just as wonderful as everyone was thoroughly enjoying themselves having a fantastic time. We were able to sneak out with the bride and groom to capture the beautiful pink sunset sky. It's always worth sneaking out for a few minutes! What made Maggie and Nick's wedding day even more special was the fact that it was also Maggie's grandparent's 65th wedding anniversary!!! Her grandparent's were so adorable and danced the night away with everyone as Steve from Elite Sound Entertainment kept the party moving all night! It was such a blessing to be surrounded by so much love and joy and it was truly a pleasure to capture this awesome couple's wedding day!
